Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

My Approach

My approach to psychiatric care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe clients should understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and medications so they can be active participants in decisions about their mental health care.

Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it is only one piece of the overall picture. I consider each client's symptoms, experiences, needs, and goals when developing a treatment plan and emphasize ongoing communication and education throughout the process.

When appropriate, I collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to support coordinated, whole-person care and help clients achieve greater stability and overall well-being.

Areas of Focus

ADHD
Providing comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing difficulties with attention, impulsivity, organization, executive functioning, and other symptoms associated with ADHD. Treatment is individualized based on each client's needs, symptoms, and goals.

Anxiety & Depression
Helping clients experiencing persistent worry, anxiety, sadness, low motivation, difficulty functioning, or other symptoms that interfere with everyday life. Treatment focuses on reducing symptoms while supporting improved functioning and overall emotional wellness.

Mood Disorders
Working with clients experiencing significant changes in mood, energy, sleep, motivation, and daily functioning. Grace provides ongoing assessment and medication management with an emphasis on stability, education, and collaborative treatment planning.

Serious Mental Illness
Providing compassionate psychiatric care for individuals living with complex or persistent mental health conditions. Treatment focuses on symptom management, stability, functioning, and long-term wellness while collaborating with other members of the client's care team when appropriate.

Children & Adolescent Psychiatry
Supporting children, teens, and their families as they navigate emotional, behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns. Grace works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to help families understand treatment recommendations and make informed decisions about their child's care.

Medication Management
Medication management includes more than prescribing medication. Grace provides ongoing assessment, education, medication monitoring, and treatment adjustments while helping clients understand how medications may support their overall mental health goals.
